Before All of us [album] is an uplifting album choc-full of funky as well as smooth numbers. The idea somehow manages to sprinkle 6 awesome decades of varied influences around Duncan Alex’s own incredibly original and invigorating prog-pop/rock/RnB end projects. Smooth vocals are positioned against 70's/80's- style vocoder and also fluid, gritty guitar riffing through Exmouth local guitar good guy Ian Davey, underpinned by alternately hot and foot-stomping basslines. Duncan Alex’s fourth album “Before Us” dropped Nineteen March 2016 worldwide online music [], iTunes [], bandcamp [] and CDBaby [].

Considering that literally before they was born, Duncan Alex listened avidly to all or any kinds of music (his or her Mum was a artist). But he first felt the itch to write his own tunes in his late teenagers. It started generally with layering words of the tune and beats, employing a cassette walkman to double up tracks, and then doubling those, and then getting a keyboard and 4-track, then buying a Computer to be able to produce a much bigger layering and pieces.

After many years producing cassette test tapes at home, he or she worked his approach towards actual facilities time, and produced a debut EP. It got Foreign national airplay on youth station Triple T, and was written up within Rolling Stone newspaper as “classy and promising".
